Scholarship
For the students placed by ÖSYM, this scholarship is non-refundable and remains uninterrupted throughout the regular education and training period. In addition to accommodation, meals, transportation, books, etc., it covers the entire tuition fee. In case the regular education period is exceeded, the continuation of the scholarship is determined by the Istanbul Gelişim University Board of Trustees.
50% Discounted
Students placed in programs with a 50% discount by ÖSYM pay the annual tuition fee at a 50% discounted rate. Scholarships are non-refundable and remain uninterrupted throughout the regular education and training period. In addition to accommodation, meals, transportation, books, etc., it covers the tuition fee. In case the regular education period is exceeded, the continuation of the scholarship is determined by the Istanbul Gelişim University Board of Trustees.
% 25 Discounted
Students placed in programs with a 25% discount by ÖSYM pay the annual tuition fee at a 25% discounted rate. Scholarships are non-refundable and remain uninterrupted throughout the regular education and training period. In addition to accommodation, meals, transportation, books, etc., it covers the tuition fee. In case the regular education period is exceeded, the continuation of the scholarship is determined by the Istanbul Gelişim University Board of Trustees.
Corporate Scholarships
During the 2021-2022 academic year, students studying at various educational institutions with which agreements have been made are eligible for discounts at previously determined rates if they choose and are accepted to Istanbul Gelişim University. Preference Scholarship
Students who enroll in undergraduate and associate degree programs at Istanbul Gelişim University and are placed within the top 5 choices on their ÖSYM preference list are eligible for a +30% preference scholarship, in addition to the ÖSYM scholarship. (The preference scholarship rate for the Faculty of Dentistry is only +10%.)To benefit from the designated preference scholarship, students must have included Istanbul Gelişim University within the top 5 choices during the central placement conducted by ÖSYM as part of the 2022 Higher Education Institutions Exam.The preference scholarship is applicable to the following faculties and schools:
• Vocational School
• Faculty of Applied Sciences
• Faculty of Health Sciences
• School of Health Services
• Faculty of Dentistry
• Faculty of Engineering and Architecture
• Faculty of Fine Arts (excluding programs that admit students through special talent exams)
• Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences

Sibling Scholarship
In the case where multiple siblings are enrolled at our university, each sibling is eligible for a 5% discount on their tuition fees. This discount remains valid as long as they are enrolled. (Master's degree students and fully scholarship recipients, regardless of their level of education, are not eligible for this discount.)
Achievement Scholarship
Istanbul Gelisim University rewards successful students with an achievement scholarship throughout their academic journey. Scholarships are provided at a rate determined by the Board of Trustees.
Come To Gelisim Scholarship
What is Come to Gelişim?
Come to Gelişim, launched by Istanbul Gelişim University in 2019, is a university acceptance program that offers additional scholarship opportunities to students who want to achieve success through their talent, experience, ideas, or projects. Come to Gelişim provides prospective university students with the opportunity to establish their own criteria for success and defines "special scholarships" for them to evaluate areas in which they can improve.
Prospective students apply to Come to Gelişim by submitting a detailed motivation letter that highlights their unique qualities and talents. Applications evaluated by the commission result in scholarships in addition to the ÖSYM scholarship, at a rate determined by the commission. Board of Trustees Scholarship
For students who enroll in our university's scholarship programs by achieving certain rankings in the YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam):
Ranking Scholarships:
2,500 TL per month for those who rank in the top 10.
2,000 TL per month for those who rank in the top 100.
1,500 TL per month for those who rank in the top 500.
1,000 TL per month for those who rank in the top 1000.
This scholarship does not cover students placed based on language proficiency scores.
The 'Ranking Scholarship' is provided for a duration of 9 months.
It is applicable for a continuous period, except for absenteeism, academic failure, and disciplinary penalties, and it is valid for 2 years in associate degree programs and 4 years in undergraduate programs.
R&D Incentive Scholarship
At Istanbul Gelişim University, students who undertake projects that are globally impactful, innovative, and entrepreneurial in nature are eligible to receive R&D incentive scholarships. Scholarships are provided at a rate determined by the Board of Trustees.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Support Scholarship
Students who hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a score between 35-45 are eligible for scholarships.
The scholarships provided to students placed in scholarship programs only cover the tuition fees. Other expenses such as accommodation, meals, transportation, books, etc., are not included in the scholarship.
These scholarships are unconditional and will not be terminated during the regular academic term. However, if the normal duration of education is exceeded, or if a disciplinary penalty is imposed, the relevant scholarships will be terminated as of the date when the disciplinary penalty becomes final.
Students who receive a 100% scholarship from ÖSYM are not eligible for these scholarships.
**Come To Gelisim Scholarship” cannot be combined with “Preference Scholarship,” “Corporate Scholarship,” or “IGU Scholarship.”
