Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Avcı Tuğal graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communications Department as an Engineer. The artist has focused on ‘Digital Art’ since 1995. Avcı worked and produced art in Canada between 2003 and 2006. He completed his master’s and doctoral studies at Avcı Işık University. In 2007, she took part in the founding staff of Işık University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Graphic Design. She is still working as an Associate Professor.

Sibel Avcı Tuğal’s father has also worked on painting since childhood in a family where she is a Famous Turkish Painter. The artist has held 5 personal exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions so far. He is one of the most important and successful artists in the field of Digital Art in Turkish painting. He has a dynamic artistic personality. In addition to her book Op Art, Sibel Avcı Tuğal has written Digital Art books and presented many papers on digital art.
